Battlefield V Gets Gamescom Trailer Showing Rotterdam Map and Gunfights
EA Dice launched a new trailer for their World War II first-person shooter Battlefield V, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 19.
The trailer takes the player to the map or Rotterdam, which will be the set piece for the single-player story as well as a multiplayer map. The trailer gives a fairly well put together a preview of the gameplay and action they can expect.
Battlefield V is set during World War II and features a single-player campaign that will focus on the lesser-known stories that happened during the war. Additionally, the game will feature multiple new modes including a sigh “Royale” mode that puts players against each other in a large map that grows smaller over time, forcing the players to face off.
Battlefield V will be available to play during Gamescom 2018, with the Rotterdam map being the main focus for players to get an early experience.

Author’s take: Although I’m not a fan of the battle royal genre that seems to be taking over the world, I can’t ignore that it’s popular and neither can these developers. I’m interested to see how EA Dice delivers this experience because if anyone can great a large battleground it’s them.
