Battle Royale Mode ‘Battlefield V: Firestorm’ Revealed in New Trailer

EA released a new trailer for the DICE and Criterions Games developed Battlefield Vs upcoming Battle Royale mode, Firestorm, which is being added to the game on March 25 as a free update to anyone who owns the game.

Battlefield V: Firestorm is a Battle Royale mode being added to the game that takes the large levels and settings found within Battlefield titles and mixes it with the rules of this popular new mode in video games. Players will explore a map called Halvoy, which features various terrains such as snow-covered mountains, open waterfront, and everything in between.

Battle Royale game modes will allow players to go through the matches solo or with a Squad. Throughout the game, players can unlock stronger vehicles with Breakouts, and drive them through the battlefield. Battlefield V: Firestorm supports 64 players during a game mode and allows them to fight across, air, land, and sea.

You can check out the new reveal trailer below that gives players a preview of the map design and areas that players can explore.

In our Battlefield V review, we shared how in its current state that it was “not perfect by any means” but that could change over time. It seems that the folks at DICE have addressed this by releasing multiple updates, such as The Last Tiger update (which we liked) and now, Rush Mode.
