Battlefield V Adds Duo Mode for a Weekend Allowing Groups of Two to Deploy Together in Battle Royal Mode Firestorm
EA announced that an update is now live for the DICE developed FPS Battlefield V adding new options to the game’s battle royale mode, Firestorm.
Starting today, players are able to deploy in groups of two together as they head out into the battlefield. Called Duo mode, the option will fully be added after player feedback is gathered following the weekend trial period.
Duo mode is available now until April 15 at 6am ET. The developer will collect feedback after the period has concluded to better improve the mode for future use. During Duo Mode, players can find each other easier and work together towards a common goal of being the last group alive.
Battlefield V: Firestorm is the title’s battle royale mode where players go up against 64 other players and aim to be the last one standing on the map known at Halvoy. The mode itself supports solo and team-based gameplay options where players are dropped onto a large map that grows smaller over time making the playing field smaller and forcing players to face off head to head.
Battlefield V is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, please check out our review of the game.
