EA released new details for to introduce players to the upcoming new maps in the DICE developed first person shooter Battlefield V.
Titled Battlefield V Chapter 4: Defying the Odds, players will find new 64-player maps to explore and execute large scale battles on. The first map in the update is Al Sundan, which was built as a classic multiplayer action focused map. Players will find that the map features large distances, which will require the players to utilize vehicle based teamplay as they push towards the opposing team. This map is based of the single player war story in the game, Under No Flag, in the North African desert.
The next map is Marita, scheduled to release in July, which brings the second of two Greece maps, following the release of Mercry from Chapter 3: Trial by Fire. Martia will find players bring the fight to the mountainside with cobblestone roads overlooking a river, and features infantry-focused combat where Allied forces are making their last stand to halt the Axis army.
Additionally, two new maps are scheduled to come this summer that focus on closed quarter combat in Lofoten Islands and Prevence. Following this release will be Chapters 4 and 5 which brings classic icon maps from Battlefield hister to the game. All of this content will be shown during EA Play Battlefield V livestream at 10:30am PT.
Battlefield V is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
