Bandai Namco Interested In Working With Mistborn & Stormlight Archive Author, Brandon Sanderson
During a currently ongoing live stream with prominent author Brandon Sanderson, known for penning the beloved Mistborn and Stormlight Archive book series’, he received and opened a package from the developer and publisher Bandai Namco. This package contained a plethora of collectible items related to the recently released Elden Ring.
However, the most notable sent item in that package was a letter from Bandai Namco stating that they are interested in collaborating with Brandon Sanderson. He then said that he has had a pitch in the back of his mind for a while, and he seemingly intends to send them his idea at some point. Obviously, none of these occurrences serve as confirmation for any Soulsborne-esque Sanderson content, but it’s a neat possibility that fans can potentially yearn for in the future.
The live stream where Brandon Sanderson opened this package can be viewed via his official Youtube channel below (timestamped):
Elden Ring features the action systems that FromSoftware has proven effective through their Dark Souls series, but the team is also focused on building a narrative with this title. With the help of Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin, the game will feature a fantasy story where players control the fate of this world. Players will meet various characters with their own motivations that may end up helping or hindering progression. Throughout the game, players will choose the fate of this cursed land by unraveling its secrets and myths.
Elden Ring is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
