Baldur’s Gate 3 Players Have Collectively Played for Over 22,000 Years; Most Popular Class is Paladin, Least Popular is Cleric
In the latest Steam post for Baldur’s Gate 3, developer Larian Studios shared some statistics that may be of some interest to players. For one, when adding together everyone’s still increasing playtime, Baldur’s Gate 3 boasts an impressive collective playtime of 200,000,000, which is the equivalent of over 22,000 years.
Additionally, the Paladin is the most popular class choice, with the Sorcerer following right behind. On the other hand, Cleric is the least popular.
Lastly, as for the types of characters players chose, the passage detailing that is quoted below:
“Human and Elf characters reign supreme in Faerûn, followed swiftly and unsurprisingly by Half-Elf. On the opposite end of the spectrum we find Dwarf, Gnome, Githyanki, and Halfling. We get it, they’re not exactly the most ethereal beauties of the Realms but they’d still form a rad metal band.”

Baldur’s Gate 3 is available now on PC via Steam and will be released on PlayStation 5 on September 6, 2023. An Xbox release was confirmed.
