Inventory Management Roguelike ‘Backpack Hero’ Now Available on Switch
During the November 2023 Nintendo Indie World Showcase, Different Tales announced that the Jaspel-developed item management roguelike Backpack Hero is now available on Nintendo Switch.
Players will need to organize and optimize their item management as they explore various environments and discover new items. Throughout the story, players will gradually rebuild their home of Haversack Hill in the world of Orderia, which will gradually compel new prospective residents.
There are over 800 items to find with several synergies, over 100 enemies to face, randomly generated dungeons, and five unique playstyles across multiple playable characters. Standalone runs not tied to the story are also possible.
The game is also currently available on PC via Steam.
