Babylon’s Fall Season 2 ‘The Light of Aaru’ Now Available, Trailer; Mandatory Swimsuit Festival

Square Enix has announced that Season 2 for Babylon’s Fall, The Light of Aaru, is now live. Players can look forward to the following general inclusions:

• New weapon type
• New faction
• Multiple balance adjustments

The new faction comprises the Kuftaali, merchants and peddlers from the desert who utilize Gutwork to its fullest extent. Additionally, the new weapon type is the Pistol, which boasts expected range, with the Perfect Shot rapid-fire ability dealing considerable damage. Moreover, an event called the Sun Festival that honors the Sun god Sol is also teased, also requiring participants to wear swimsuits.

During gameplay, players can take control of various characters called Sentinels in fantasy-style levels throughout the Tower of Babel. One can get through the game alone, but there are also 4-player online options. Further, characters will take on a mission that never ends, even though there is a narrative. However, the main draw is that players will fight through various fields of enemies as they collect loot and take on combat challenges.

• The title is not doing all that well, with it having reached a record-low 1 player last month.

Babylon’s Fall is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
