Azur Lane: Crosswave Additional Shipfu DLC Launches on PS4 and PC in the West

Idea Factory International has launched five new DLC characters for their visual novel action game, Azur Lane: Crosswave, on PlayStation 4, and PC-via Steam.

Both online storefronts have the five DLC for $7.99 each with a bundle available at a discounted price of $33.95, PSN and Steam.

There are five DLC packs available that each includes a main character 3 support ships and additional Story Mode content for the character.

The five available Main characters are:

  • Taihou – Support Ships: Saint Louis, Dunkerque, Jean Bart
  • Formidable – Support Ships: Warspite, HMS Neptune, Zara
  • Roon – Support Ships: Graf Zepplin, Deutschland, Admiral Graf Spee
  • Le Malin – Support Ships: Essex, Baltimore, Centaur
  • Sirius – Support Ships: London, Alabama, Azuma

Azur Lane is a mobile app game released in 2017 in China for iOS and Android devices. Since its launch, the game has become more and more popular with players hitting five million players within its first four months on the market.

During gameplay, players will need to defeat enemy ships and meet special criteria to unlock and customize new characters. The game allows players to customize their commander and collect new upgrades while figuring out their unique strengths and abilities. Additionally, the game features water warfare as players must take into consideration of enemy attacks and plan their strike accordingly.

Character DLC for Taihou and Formidable will be included with the Nintendo Switch version when it is released in 2021. The remaining 3 Character DLC will be available for purchase as additional add-on content.
