Azur Lane: Crosswave Gets Physical Release in the West Through Limited Run Games

Idea Factory International announced that Azur Lane: Crosswave will receive a physical release in the west on PlayStation 4 from Limited Run Games.

Beginning on November 5, fans will be able to pre-order the game through the respective webstore front. Additionally, there will a Limited Edition available for $99.99 (also available with free domestic shipping through IFFY’s Webstore), which includes:

  • A PS4 copy of the game
  • Steel Game Case
  • Sakura Empire Standee
  • 2-inch enamel pin set
  • Shimakaze Figure
  • Hardcore Art Book
  • Soundtrack

Additionally, fans can pre-order the standard edition for $49.99.

Azur Lane is a mobile app game released in 2017 in China for iOS and Android devices. Since its launch, the game has become more and more popular with players hitting five million players within its first four months on the market.

During gameplay, players will need to defeat enemy ships and meet special criteria to unlock and customize new characters. The game allows players to customize their commander and collect new upgrades while figuring out their unique strengths and abilities. Additionally, the game features water warfare as players must take into consideration of enemy attacks and plan their strike accordingly.
