Idea Factory International released new character details for their shipfu action game Azur Lane: Crosswave will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PC-via Steam in February 2020.
The details cover five new playable characters from the game, Ayanami, Illustrious, Ajax, Enterprise, Akashi, and Achilles. Ayanami is the oldest member of the Sakura Empire and she takes her battles seriously. Outside of war, she doesn’t have an interest in anything really. Illustrious is a member of the Royal Navy who is presented as a graceful and refined lady. Some might consider her to be slow, but she is extremely reliable. Ajax is a sadistic individual who refers to people of interest as “Little Piggy.” She is also talented and ruthless in battle. Enterprise is the strongest aircraft carries in the Eagle Union and has been present in many battles. Akashi is a cat-like girl who acts as technical support to her interesting inventions. She also loves money. Achilles is a Leander-class light cruiser and a friend of Ajax. She might be absent-minded, but at least she’s not sadistic.
Azur Lane is a mobile app game released in 2017 in China for iOS and Android devices. Since its launch, the game has become more and more popular with players hitting five million players within its first four months on the market.
During gameplay, players will need to defeat enemy ships and meet special criteria to unlock and customize new characters. The game allows players to customize their commander and collect new upgrades while figuring out their unique strengths and abilities. Additionally, the game features water warfare as players must take into consideration of enemy attacks and plan their strike accordingly.
