Avatar Frontier of Pandora Reveals PC Features Ray-Tracing, AMD FSR 2, Ultra-Wide Support & More
Ubisoft has shared a new trailer for their upcoming action-adventure game Avatar Frontier of Pandora, highlighting its PC features. Players can look forward to ray-traced reflections and shadows. Plus, you’ll be able to preview and fine-tune your performance and take advantage of built-in PC benchmark tools to test settings in a controlled environment.
AMD FSR 2 will also be available for quality and performance balancing. Further, ultra-wide resolution will be supported alongside a high refresh rate, and many core-CPU support.
You can read more about these PC features via Ubisoft’s website.
Avatar Frontier of Pandora is being developed using the newly updated Snowdrop engine and takes players to Pandora, where they will fight against the Resources Development Administration (RDA). The events of the game seem to follow elements of the film, where the humans are extracting resources after Earth has been depleted. However, the planet is inhabited by the Na’vi, who players will take control of.
This is a standalone story where players will travel across the Western Frontier, which is a never-before-seen part of Pandora. There will be new characters and creatures, but we’re still waiting for more information.
