Avalanche Studios Reveals Contraband, But That’s About All We Know

During Microsoft’s E3 2021 showcase, Avalanche Studios announced a new co-op, open-world shooter named Contraband.

This is the developer behind Rage 2, so we know they aren’t unfamiliar with this genre. They also developed Just Cause titles, so we hope to see their creative systems in this new title.

During the trailer, there was some funky music as we slowly moved across a 3D environment. Showing off older technology so this could point to it being set in the past, I would hazard a guess around the ’70s.

No release date has been announced. It’s a good guess that it will be another Xbox Series X|S and PC exclusive. However, if you subscribe to the Xbox game pass, you will get it on Day 1 from them.
