Idea Factory International announced that their dungeon-crawling RPG Mary Skelter 2 has been approved by the Australian rating boards for a digital eShop release on a Nintendo Switch in the territory.
Mary Skelter 2 originally released in the west in October 2019, however, the game was banned by the Australian rating boards, which made it impossible for the game to release in the region. However, that’s water under the bridge now as the game is available and the publisher also revealed that those who pick up the game will receive five free downloadable add-ons, including:
- Mary Skelter Game Item (Unlocks Mary Skelter: Nightmares)
- Death end re;Quest Job Attire 1
- Death end re;Quest Job Attire 2
- Blood Maidens’ Swimsuits
- Jailbreak Support Goods
Mary Skelter 2 was previously released on PlayStation 4 in Japan as a sequel to 2017’s Mary Skelter on PlayStation Vita. Mary Skelter 2 continues the adventure of the series as Jack as he deals with becoming a nightmare, which opens the door for a new battle system. During gameplay, players will need to satisfy the living jail’s needs by completing the three desires in the jail, which will provide Jack with various bonuses. During battles, Jack will be able to succumb to the nightmare and turn into Ripper Jack where he can deal devastating amounts of damage. The game also features items known as Blood Crystals, which can be harvested to turn into new objects.
