Koei Tecmo released new details for Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on July 25.
The publisher shed some light on the additional story elements added to this version of the game. During Final Battle, players are able to play through Season 3 of the anime, both part 1 and part 2, through character episodes. During this season, the Scout Regiments will learn that Titans might not be their only enemies. There’s a new group emerging, the Anti-Personnel Control Squad, led by Kenny Ackerman, who is set on capturing Eren and Historia by any means possible. Human will fight against humans in this all-out war for survival, but the Titans will be there to make matters worse every step of the way.
During gameplay, players will play through the story through three perspectives, the Scout Regiment, the 104th Cadets, and the Warriors. Players will experience the entire season 3 of the anime as well as additional battles and encounters original to the video game.
Players who own, Attack on Titan 2 can purchase the standalone expansion to play through the new content. Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle will contain all the previous Seasons as well as Season 3.
