Initially announced during the Xbox Series S|X launch, Scorn has been on the radar for many horror fans. However, the developers behind it have been quite silent about development progress until today. Finally, Ebb Software officially announced the release window for their upcoming game via a tweet.
Ebb Software has also updated the official Kickstarter page with a more in-depth update regarding the development process and an interview with the art team. In addition, the CEO of Ebb Software, Ljubomir Peklar, also issued an official statement:
“December has been a pretty huge month for us at Ebb Software. Not only have we been able to share our new release date but we’ve also reached a significant milestone in our development – 75% content completion! I’d just like to give my deepest thanks to our community for your patience and our team here at Ebb who have been working incredibly hard to pull everything together.”
Not much is known about Scorn but what we do know is that it is a first-person horror adventure title heavily inspired by the works of H.R. Giger. Giger is best known for his nightmarish science-fiction motifs that blend humans and machines together and his career in the Alien franchise.
Scorn is releasing on Xbox Series S|X and PC via Steam sometime in October 2022.
