Atlus Removes Two Additionally Added Persona 25th Anniversary Announcement Slots; 3 Remaining

Atlus Japan has sneakily updated the Persona 25th anniversary website, reducing the number of upcoming announcements to 3 instead of 5. For those unaware, the Japan Persona anniversary website was updated in April to house 2 additional announcements, making 9 in total. The announcements initially totaled 7, which is what it has returned to.

It is possible that these slots were accidentally added, but considering how it took several months for them to be removed, it’s more likely that the potential plans related to these veiled announcements fell through.

The 3 remaining announcement slots correlate to June 2022, an unknown time, and Autumn 2022.

In case you missed it, check out our review for  Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.

This title takes place after the ending of the original Persona 4, featuring elements from Persona 4 Golden, such as the character Marie. This game is a 2D fighter developed by Arc System Works, most prominently known for Blazblue and the recently released Guilty Gear Strive.

This re-release includes all of the content contained in the original Ultimax release and the story of the first Arena game. Further, Japanese and English dual audio options are present. Also notable is that this release supervisor rollback netcode on all platforms except for Nintendo Switch.
