Atlus Japan Hosting 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Second Anniversary Live Stream; Celebratory Artwork by Yukiko Hirai

Atlus Japan has announced that they will be hosting a second-anniversary celebration stream for their sci-fi visual novel, strategy sim hybrid, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. Taking place on November 28, 2021, this stream will provide coverage for upcoming collaborations, merchandise, and a talk show amongst several of the game’s voice actors.

Additionally, the game’s main illustrator and character designer, Yukiko Hirai, provided a celebratory illustration for the event (the featured image of this piece).

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim has players assume the role of 13 different characters, who each play a part in the overarching narrative. Throughout the game, players are able to explore 2D environments and interact with other characters to trigger events. This will inevitably lead to a battle encounter where players can jump into mecha suits and strategically fight against enemy Kaijuu using the game’s real-time battle system.

The narrative is a significant focus for 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. Players will need to be engaged in the conversations as choices weigh them, and accessing keywords to acquire additional information is necessary. Players will be able to jump between characters during the adventure segments as they gather information. However, if things go too wrong, the day will rewind to make the correct choices.
