Atlus Has Several Undisclosed Titles in Development

Famitsu has shared an extensive list of even more developer and publisher comments following the start of 2023. Aside from the expected passages regarding fortunate wishes, some companies teased announcements occurring down the road.

For instance, Atlus announced that they have several undisclosed titles in the works. Specifics were not stated, but this certainly warrants some thought. In an interview with select Atlus staff from the end of December 2022, a currently unknown game was implied to be in development alongside Soul Hackers 2 and Shin Megami Tensei V. As we speculated in our coverage of this news, it’s highly possible that a new entry in the Etrian Odyssey series may be in development.

Still, we know nothing definitive at the moment. Another hope I have, for as lacking in basis as it is, would be a port of Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology. This turn-based JRPG remains one of my favorite Atlus games ever made. It truly deserves a vaster audience.

Regardless, it appears that 2023 will be a significant year for Altus. Moreover, Sega has information they want to reveal as soon as possible. While this could easily not be related to Atlus, the urgency at which this is stated is worth keeping in mind.
