Action RPG ‘Atlas Fallen’ Developers Show Off New Gameplay in Video

Deck13 released the gameplay details for their action RPG Atlas Fallen.

The behind-the-scenes video is narrated by the developers, who are based out of Frankfurt, Germany. The small team is putting all of their skills into delivering an RPG that will immerse players in a fantastical and dangerous world.

Following their sci-fi series The Surge, the team embraced a fresh vision for a unique medieval fantasy world with faster-paced combat. Today’s video features several developers and creatives, as well as gorgeous concept art and game footage, showcasing the fun, exciting, and inspiring adventure waiting to be discovered in Atlas Fallen.

Atlas Fallen has players journey through desert landscapes as they unearth a fallen society due to the abandonment of a Sun God. During gameplay, players will fight against a corrupt god and beasts with divine power. Further, there is seamless drop-in and drop-out cooperative play, and there is plenty of cosmetic customization to bolster player individuality.

Exploration is kept fast, enabling gliding across the desert once enough progress is made. Plus, this makes it easier to discover countless secrets littered throughout the world. Moreover, weapon variety and knowing which to utilize based on context will be imperative for context. Combat is heavily based on momentum and combo finishers.

Atlas Fallen is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam on August 10, 2023.
