Atelier Ryza Has Officially Gone Gold

Publisher Koei Tecmo has announced that the next entry in the Atelier series developed by Gust, Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout has gone gold. The adventure RPG is officially coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in the west on October 29.

The news was revealed via a tweet from Koei Tecmo Amercia’s Twitter which you can check out below:

For those that aren’t aware, Atelier Ryza tells the story of a new character in the Atelier series, Ryzalin (or ‘Ryza’, for short) a typical everyday girl who has become bored with her mundane lifestyle. After meeting someone special, she discovers alchemy and her whole life changes. She then sets out on an adventure that she never thought she’d go on.

Atelier Ryza is aiming to be graphically better than any of the Atelier titles in the past. While there won’t be any romance in the game, players will be able to experience a bittersweet story that resembles summer memories. Furthermore, fans of past Atelier titles can expect to find a completely revamped synthesis interface and have fun tinkering with updated synthesis systems in this title, including the ‘Linkage Synthesis’ system.

In case you didn’t know, the western release of the Limited Edition version — made possible by NIS America — is available for pre-order as well.
