Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & The Secret Key Shares English Opening Video; New Screenshots Highlight Atelier Customization and Cooking

Koei Tecmo has shared gameplay details and the English opening for the Gust-developed JRPG Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & The Secret Key, coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on March 24, 2023.

During gameplay, players can explore a new group of islands which introduces a World Quest system. Completing these questions, which are region specific, will unravel more information about the territories and the characters. However, completing them will also alter the field materials.

Scattered around the regions are bonfires where the party can cook and rest. Ryza is able to cook recipes for her friends, which adds buffs to the group and will progress the time of day. Further, players can now customize their own atelier in each region to serve as the base. There are three structure types, the research base, which is advantageous for exploration, the farm for gathering, and the laboratory for synthesis. Puni will join up with Ryza, and players will need to take care of the creature and put it to work to scout for items.

Lastly, Key Art was shared and created by Toridamono, the Atelier Ryza series illustrator, this artwork will be the inlay of the physical version of Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key and will remain exclusive to the American/European versions of the game.
