Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & The Secret Key Reveals Gameplay & Story Info; Screenshots & Purchase Bonuses

Following the announcement of Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & The Secret Key, Koei Tecmo has shared more information for the upcoming title.

The game is confirmed to be releasing for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC via Steam on February 24, 2023.

Lead writer Yashichiro Takahashi has returned to write this third entry. Taking place after Ryza 2, the titular protagonist and her friends discover newly appearing islands, called the Kark Isles, near their home of Kurken Island. The party decides to investigate these mysterious happenings but ends up finding a gate within some ruins, with a voice wanting to lead Ryza to the Code of the Universe. This is also confirmed to be the final entry of the Ryza series, and will take place one year after the previous game.

Four regions will be explorable in an open field, all boasting seamless transitions. Keys will also be found and created; they all have unique effects for synthesis, battle, and exploration. A total of 11 party members are confirmed.

Purchasing the game either physically or digitally two weeks after launch will grant seven Summer Look costumes, which may be available for purchase at a later date.

The title is also planned to be showcased during Tokyo Game Show 2022 on September 16 at 19:00 JST.
