Koei Tecmo released new details for the Gust-developed adventure RPG, Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy, coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on January 26, 2021.
The publisher has provided some details on the magical creature, Fi. In the story, Ryza and Fi have bonded after they meet while she was investigating a legend. Fi is full of magical powers that allow Ryza to explore deeper into the mysterious ruins. While exploring, the two run into Empel and Lila, who helped Ryza before and are why she’s into alchemy in the first place.
Additionally, we learn that Punis plays a larger role in this entry, as players can instruct them to gather for her. Over time they will level and be able to discover more rare items to give to Ryza.
So now to the digital stuff. The publisher has revealed two additions, the Digital Deluxe, and Ultimate Editions. The Digital Deluxe Edition features the base game and additional costumes and gathering spots, including the Kurken Island Gathering Tour, Another Style Costume Set, the Summer Memories Costume Set, and the Helpful Items. Set, and the All You Need! Gem Pack.
While the Ultimate Edition features everything included inside the Digital Deluxe Edition along with the Atelier Ryza 2: Season Pass and the special Season Pass bonus Ryza costume: Mysterious Book Alchemist.
The First Season Pass, yes, this is only the first one, will include 12 DLC packs such as new bathing suit costumes, recipes, and additional areas to fight high-level enemies.
Those who purchase the physical version of the game will receive the “Beware of Puni!” and “Blue Puni Costume” t-shirt DLC for Ryza.
Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy takes place after the events of Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout, which shipped 420,000 copies worldwide. Atelier Ryza tells the story of a new character in the Atelier series, Ryzalin, a typical everyday girl who has become bored with her mundane lifestyle. After meeting someone special, she discovers alchemy, and her whole life changes. She then sets out on an adventure that she never thought she’d go on.
