Atelier Ryza 2 Receives Free Update That Expands Photo Mode and Adds Legend Difficulty
Koei Tecmo released a free new update for the Gust-developed adventure RPG, Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy, available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam.
The update includes an expanded photo mode where players can now include NPCs and enemies in their pictures. Characters such as Empel, Lila, and Bos can now be staged in pictures and Punis and other enemies.
Further, players can now get bonuses for completing the mini-games, Weasel Roast and Lamb Roast, which unlock after a certain point in the game. Defeating these enemies under certain restrictions will net players more items.
Also added is a Legend difficulty setting that is unlocked after finishing the main story. Enemies are stronger, but post-game Ryza is also pretty strong.
Other additions to the Ver.1.03 are:
PS4/PS5
- Able to obtain save data bonuses for the Atelier Ryza on the PS4/PS5 version on Atelier Ryza 2
- Cross-save support between PS4 and PS5
- DLC Support + Bug Fixes
Switch
- DLC Support + Bug Fixes
PC (Ver 1.0.2)
- DLC Support + Bug Fixes
- Fixed the display error that has occurred after the application update Ver. 1.01a
