New Atelier Resleriana Trailer Introduces Gameplay Systems

Gust, Koei Tecmo, and Aktasuki Games have shared a new English trailer for their free-to-play title, Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy & the Polar Night Liberator. The general gameplay loop is showcased.

Aside from typical Atelier activities, like gathering materials and combat encounters with character-specific skills, Growboards can be utilized to unlock level limits and increase stats. Strength is dependent on adequate equipment and Memoria. Plus, characters can be awoken to enhance their capabilities further.

Regarding synthesis, characters will have colors that must be matched with the color of one’s chosen recipe for maximum effectiveness. The eventually applied traits can be previewed by matching colors, too.

Atelier ReslerianaForgotten Alchemy & the Polar Night Liberator occurs in the kingdom of Lantarna, which once prospered thanks to alchemy. However, the practice is now nonexistent, not even retained as a memory. The protagonist, Resna, sets off on a journey to restore alchemy throughout the land.

Players will be able to progress without consuming stamina, and the home screen will alter depending on how far you have reached. The series’ general gameplay loop is retained, with characters able to get stronger via quests and the Growboard. There are also art cards of previous Atelier games and what-if scenarios with rewards of their own.

You’ll be scored in battle, with awards given depending on performance. Synthesis will have multiple characters unite their efforts across over 100 recipes obtained in various ways. Players will also be able to progress the story without consuming stamina.
