The official global Twitter account for the ongoing free-to-play title Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy & the Polar Night Liberator has announced that it has achieved over five million downloads worldwide.

To commemorate the occasion, the event, “Resna the Hero’s Great Adventure: The Imprisoned Princess,” is being held. Available until March 7, 2024, the following message was shared:

Advance through event stories to rescue Meruru and take on event dungeons!

Clear all event stories and receive Lodestar Gems × 1,600

Progress through event stories to develop new limited-time event recipes!

    How to Participate:

Clear quests, like Training Quests, to collect Challenge Tickets [5 Million Worldwide Downloads Celebration] and take part in event dungeons! Gather Celebration Medals and Synthesis Materials with your tools! Check the in-game announcement for more details.

Additionally, the three-star character, Meruru / Damsel in Distress (Ice | Attacker), will be available until March 8, 2024.

Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy & the Polar Night Liberator occurs in the kingdom of Lantarna, which once prospered thanks to alchemy. However, the practice is now nonexistent, not even retained as a memory. The protagonist, Resna, sets off on a journey to restore alchemy throughout the land.

Players will be able to progress without consuming stamina, and the home screen will alter depending on how far you have reached. The series’ general gameplay loop is retained, with characters able to get stronger via quests and a growth board. There are also art cards of previous Atelier games and what-if scenarios with rewards of their own.

You’ll be scored in battle, with awards given depending on performance. Synthesis will have multiple characters unite their efforts across over 100 recipes obtained in various ways. Players will also be able to progress the story without consuming stamina. During combat, turns follow a simple timeline structure, though the Effect Panels provide ample choice for strategy.

Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy & the Polar Night Liberator is now available worldwide on PC via Steam and mobile devices via iOS and Android.
