Koei Tecmo has announced that the mobile title Atelier Online: Alchemist of Bressisle will be concluding service in Japan on March 31, 2022, at 15:00 JST. However, no announcements have been made regarding the title’s English version. This announcement can be viewed entirely via the game’s official website.
Atelier Online: Alchemist of Bressisle is a free-to-play game initially launched in Japan in 2018. During gameplay, players will co-operatively play with other alchemists or alone as they synthesize items and gather materials.
Gameplay includes adventure elements where players can move around the field and collect new materials. Further, the battle system is also featured in the game, where players will attack enemies to defeat them. Fallen enemies can also provide new materials.
Players can customize their characters with new outfits. Through gameplay, new skills can be learned to improve synthesis and battle techniques.
Atelier Online: Alchemist of Bressisle takes place on the island of Bressisle, where alchemy isn’t as popular as it once was. Players will assume the role of an apprentice alchemist who enters a newly established academy aimed to teach the art of alchemy to new generations. The goal is to pass the academy’s tests while improving your skills as an alchemist. Naturally, being a free-to-play game, there will be in-app purchasable items.
