In addition to general enhancements and new character events, the remake will feature a new Unlimited Mode, allowing players to “play at a more relaxed pace.” The term makes it seem as if the title’s time limit will be removed or altered. Additionally, the Atelier Marie Plus: The Alchemist of Salburg, Gust Extra BGM Costume Set and “Another Look” Costume Set will be granted with the Digital Deluxe Edition.

Atelier Marie: The Alchemist of Salburg is the first title in the Atelier franchise, initially available on PlayStatation 1 before seeing Sega Saturn, PC, Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, and mobile ports. The debut entry follows the titular protagonist, who’s the worst in her class and is in danger of failing, but she’s given a chance to pass if she can produce an exceptional item within five years of receiving her own Atelier. Gameplay has the same elements future entries would utilize, such as gathering ingredients, interacting with townsfolk, and performing battles. Of course, there are notable differences, and this incoming remake appears to be taking liberties.
