ASTLIBRA Gaiden: The Cave of Phantom Mist DLC Launching Next Week for PC

Publisher WhisperGames and developer KEIZO have officially announced that ASTLIBRA Gaiden: The Cave of Phantom Mist will be released for PC via Steam on February 13, 2024. The Nintendo Switch release date has not yet been revealed.

Playing as the bakery girl, fans can anticipate overhauled gameplay featuring the dynamic dress-up system “that emphasises individuality and flair,” a swift and tactical magic system, “and a style system that amplifies specific combat builds.” This standalone journey is expected to take players around 20 hours to complete.

The following synopsis was provided for ASTLIBRA Gaiden: The Cave of Phantom Mist:

A side story for ASTLIBRA starring a new female protagonist in a 20+ hour adventure!
Take control of the baker’s reclusive daughter to challenge randomly generated dungeons in a roguelike-style gameplay loop.
Strengthen your character with various methods of growth. Use all new magic attacks to beat up your enemies and relieve your stress.

Every day she followed the same routine, sweeping away out in front of her family’s store.
The shut-in girl could only gaze with longing toward the work done by the town’s heroic Guild.
But when the Guild members go missing one day, she has no choice but to throw herself into conflict, chasing after their tracks in order to save her ill little sister.

This is the story of an ordinary girl’s battle.

ASTLIBRA Revision is a unique 2D action JRPG boasting some pretty wild story beats and addictive action systems. The game was developed over the course of 14 years with over one year of revision. The gameplay systems include six difficulty levels and a variety of postgame content to attract completionists.

Players can customize the protagonist in numerous ways thanks to a skill tree-like system and a stamina system that requires on-the-fly strategy. Further, the boss battles tend to have a vast scale and are usually quite tricky if one is unprepared. At least there are plenty of approachable ways to grind, including an arena mode.

Players can anticipate roughly 60 hours of content, over 230 types of equipment, over 300 types of items, over 60 types of techniques, and over 100 types of unique effects.
