Action Platformer ‘Astalon: Tears of The Earth’ Get Release Date on PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC in New Trailer

Dangen Entertainment announced that the LABS Works-developed retro adventure Astalon: Tears of The Earth will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch PC-via Steam on June 3, 2021.

The publisher has released a new trailer that shows gameplay and how players will traverse the environments as different characters to celebrate the announcement.

Astalon: Tears of The Earth follows three explorers wandering through a post-apocalyptic desert to find a way to save the people of their village. Evidently, there just so happens to be a pretty suspicious tower coming up from the depths of the Earth that might hold some answers.

One of the heroes has made a pact with the Titan of Death, Epimetheus, allowing them to reincarnate until they have accomplished their mission. So, now it’s up to the skills of the player to save the village.

The game mimics what fans of retro action-platformer would easily recognize but also has its own unique features. Each character has unique skills to use while fighting through the hordes of enemies in the tower.

Furthermore, players can collect items and explore new ways to get through the tower by changing the rules and embracing death, allowing characters to be strengthened. Additionally, the game features puzzles in the tower that will open new routes to explore.
