Assault Spy Receives Early Access Update Adding a Brand New Character
NIS America has released a new update for Wazen’s fast-paced action game Assault Spy, coming to PC-via Steam on July 26.
The update adds a new character, Amelia, to the game’s Early Access build as a playable character. Players will be able to practice all of her combos and special skills in the game’s Dojo Mode.
Being a new studio, indie Japanese developer Wazen have definitely shown what it takes to deliver a visually promising action title. Judging from comments by the Early Access Steam community everyone is coming out a fan, which is rare to see from Steam users, considering the low scores previous NISA published PC titles have received including the recent Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, which have become more positive after a few patches. With that said, Assault Spy isn’t a port of a game and is being developed by a brand new studio.
Assault Spy is centered around Asaru Vito, a self-proclaimed elite company spy. However, most of his missions end up in failures due to his clumsy partner, Kanako Yotsuba. After the company gets taken over by terrorists, Asaru must do his best to not fail his company or his partner.
