Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Siege of Paris Detailed and Coming Later This Summer With More Expansions Coming in 2022
Ubisoft announced post-launch plans for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla titled Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Siege of Paris coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC later this summer.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Siege of Paris takes place in Francia where Eivor must uncover enemy secrets and form alliances to safeguard your clan’s future. It was also revealed that Black-Box infiltration missions are returning and there will be new weapons, gear, and abilities to take down new enemy types.
Additionally, the studio revealed that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be supported for another year as they teased an Odin-centric story expansion coming in 2022.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s story stars Eivor and his Viking raider, driven from Norway due to war and low on resources. It is up to him to lead a clan across the North Sea to find a new home, no matter the cost. Combat includes the use of a hidden blade, dual-wielding axes, swords, and shields against “ the most varied collection of deadly enemies ever found in an Assassin’s Creed game.”
Players can also launch massive assaults against Saxon troops and fortresses. Or set surprise attack from longship to take over enemy territory to regain land and resources. From there, construct and upgrade buildings including barracks, blacksmith, or tattoo parlor. Online modes have players customize raiders, join clans, and play alongside friends.
