Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Revealed in Cinematic Trailer and Developers Breakdown the Entire Video

Ubisoft has revealed Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the newest entry in the Assassin’s Creed series of video games.

In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players assume the role of Eivor, a Viking warrior who sets out to rid the world of his enemies. During gameplay, players can explore an open world set in England’s Dark Ages. Players will also be able to do things like plan raids against their enemies, grow their settlement, and build political power throughout the lands.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla uses RPG systems to allow players to grow their characters and make choices that shape the story and their alliances. The combat system now features dual-wielding equipment with axes, swords, and shields to mimic a ruthless Viking fighting style. In the open-world, players are able to sail to different lands and do things like fish, hunt, and of course, play drinking games.

The raids in the game allow players to strategize their attacks against enemy territories and collect loot and resources. Settlements in the game can be upgraded with new buildings and options to grow your Viking army.

The developer has also released a breakdown video that is almost 20 minutes long where the team talks about each aspect of the trailer.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC holiday 2020.
