Ubisoft has been slowly revealing details that they are working on a new entry in the Assassin’s Creed series. Now, the company has officially revealed the game’s name Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
During a live stream event this morning, the publisher hosted artist BossLogic as he drew of the key art for the new title. However, the company will reveal the actual game on April 30 at 8 am PT. In the full reveal, we should get a better idea of the direction of the new title and hopefully information on the main protagonist.
The last entry of the Assassin’s Creed series released in 2018 with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The game has a focus on mythological history as players witnessed the war between Sparta and Athens. This new direction looks to be more geared towards the clash between Vikings and Kings as the keyart shows the two side coming head to head.
Speculation can continue until the publisher’s full reveal comes tomorrow, but hopefully, this slow rollout of information is a clue that this will be an Assassin’s Creed entry that will do right by the fans. With the extra development time, the company is in a good position to take the series to new heights.
We’ll find out tomorrow.
