Assassin’s Creed Mirage Announcement Trailer, 2023 Release; 20 Years Before Valhalla, Takes Place In Baghdad

During Ubisoft Forward 2022, the developer shared the announcement trailer for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage. This title will go back to the series’ roots, focusing more on stealth, parkour, and assassinations, unlike the more RPG route the more recent entries have embraced.

The game takes place 20 years before Valhalla, and it takes place in Baghdad with the protagonist Basim. Roshan, Basim’s mentor, will be voiced by Shohreh Aghdashloo.

The collector’s case, deluxe and standard editions are available for pre-order via the Ubisoft storefront. The former-most is $149.99, while the lattermost is $49.99.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is planned to launch in 2023, and pre-ordering will grant players the exclusive 40 Thieves side quest.
