Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed III Remastered is definitely a thing and will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 29.
Assassin’s Creed III Remastered will feature 4K and HDR support on PS4 Pro, Xbox One, and PC, as well as higher resolution textures, and a new graphics engine with several additional graphical enhancements.
Additionally, Assassin’s Creed III Remastered will be available to owners of the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass as well as a stand-alone game for $39.99. This version of the game will also include the single player missions Benedict Arnold and Hidden Secrets, the Tyranny of King Washington and Assassin’s Creed III Liberation Remastered.
Assassin’s Creed III Remastered tells the story of Connor, an Assassin born during 18th-century America. As the revolution nears your tribe, players must fight for the survival of their people and find freedom in the world. Assassin’s Creed III Liberation Remastered tells the story of Aveline who’s battle takes place in New Orleans as the city deals with his its own revolution.

Author’s take: I remember really liking this entry of the series, but I’ve always been the biggest supporter of Assassin’s Creed II. However, I’ll definetly check it out.
