Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has surpassed 2 million copies sold on its launch day. The remake was released on July 9, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. The publisher shared the milestone in a message thanking players for the strong debut: “Dash my Buttons… Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has already passed 2 million copies sold! Whether you’re sailing with us again, or stepping aboard the Jackdaw for the first time: THANK YOU from the bottom of ARR hearts.”

The launch marks an encouraging result for Ubisoft, as Black Flag Resynced has also become the franchise’s biggest Steam launch by concurrent players.
