Action-RPG ‘Ashen’ Nightstorm Isle DLC Revealed in New Trailer

Publisher Annapurna Interactive has announced that DLC is on the way for the A44 developed action-RPG Ashen, out now on Xbox One and the Epic Games Store and coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and GoG on December 9.

The DLC, called Nighstorm Isle, will release on September 6 for Xbox One and the Epic Games Store, and will have players go on an epic quest to help a mother find her lost daughter on an eerie and mysterious island full of dread. Players can expect to discover countless horrors as they plunge deeper and deeper below, along with new enemies to take down.

Ashen is an action-RPG inspired by FromSoftware’s Dark Souls series. In the game, players take on the role of a wanderer in search of a place to call home. In a world where nothing lasts, no matter how tightly you cling to it, Ashen is all about forging relationships and fighting foes to survive.

We think the upcoming DLC will be included right at launch for the PS4, Switch, Steam, and GoG versions of the game. However, there’s been no official word on that yet, so we’ll be sure to give you all an update about that.
