Action-Exploration Game ‘Ary and the Secret of Seasons’ Gets a New Gameplay Trailer; Release Window Revealed

Developer eXiin and indie publisher Modus Games have released a new and stunning gameplay trailer today for the upcoming action-exploration game Ary and the Secret of Seasons, coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam in 2020.

Taking on a role traditionally reserved for young men, Aryelle (Ary) has become the newest inductee into the mysterious Guardians of Seasons. As a member of the group, Ary is tasked with overcoming monstrous enemies, secret plots, and stuffy traditions to bring back balance to the land of Valdi after a mysterious force throws the seasons into disarray.

Ary and the Secret of Seasons will take players on an adventurous ride through a fanciful and vibrant world where the seasons themselves hold ancient, hidden powers that lets Ary manipulate the seasons around her. With unforgettable characters and menacing enemies thrown into the mix, players are going to need to help Ary with learning to control the seasons and use them to overcome obstacles like environmental puzzles, discover hidden secrets, and of course, defeat evil during her adventure across Valdi.

It’s clear that from watching the gameplay trailer that Ary and the Secret of Seasons is going to be one beautiful looking game that’ll have some nice, fluid combat to master and dynamic environments to explore.

Next week, E3 attendees can view a demo of the game in person by visiting Modus in the South Hall at booth #2513

Before E3, though, go ahead and go right into Ary and the Secret of Seasons thanks to the trailer and screenshots below:

Author’s note: I’m definitely getting some Avatar: The Last Airbender vibes with this one, which is not a bad thing at all… it’s a very, very good thing. Excited to see more of the game.
