Action-Adventure ‘Arto’ Reveals Action and Story Systems in New Trailer; Free Demo Available Now
OrionGames released the first trailer for their upcoming action-adventure, Arto, releasing on PC via Steam in December 2022.
Arto is inspired by games such as Okami and Hyper Light Drifter, where players will navigate different environments that have been devoid of color. Throughout the adventure, players can pick up new weapons, each with different upgrade paths to take on the enemies and bosses through hack n slash combat.
The game features a narrative with branching points to lead to different endings. Further, the cast has access to other weapons and character upgrades, making the experience unique. There are six worlds available that feature different artful themes, from pop art to pixel art; players are tasked with bringing color back to the world.
There are over 30 different enemies to defeat, but players have access to over 15 further upgrades. There’s an original story here where players uncover the mysteries of the Chromaclysm and discover the past events that shattered the world and stole the color.
There’s an early beta demo available for those who wish to play. The publisher is providing these on the game’s Discord server.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the development of Arto.
