Action-Adventure ‘Arrest of a stone Buddha’ Gets Switch Release Date in the West

Circle Entertainment announced that the yeo-developed action-adventure, Arrest of a Stone Buddha, will launch on Nintendo Switch on May 21.

Arrest of a Stone Buddha is the follow-up release to the developer’s previous title, The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa, and borrows much of what is the foundation of that game. However, the developer has added additional options along with refined battle systems, all set to a new narrative.

Arrest of a Stone Buddha has players take on the role of a professional killer in November 1976. As the killer, you have a set of abilities that enable you to kill your targets in one shot and move on. Seemingly unmoved by the crimes you’ve committed, a question immerges that longs to be answered. In a time when it seems that you have everything, including life, is going good, you find yourself in an apartment, eating a cafe, and never too far away from a lover, but is something missing?

Arrest of a Stone Buddha explores this narrative deeper, but the developer is genuinely looking to refine his craft with a stronger narrative compared to his predecessor, but we’ll see.

Arrest of a Stone Buddha is available now on PC-via Steam.
