Armed Fantasia & Penny Blood Share Final 2022 Development Update; Festive Artwork & Christmas Arrangement for Latter

The concluded Double Kickstarter campaign for the Wild Arms and Shadow Hearts successors, Armed Fantasia and Penny Blood, has shared a final update for fans to close out the year.

Regarding Armed Fantasia, publisher negotiations are still underway both in Japan and the West, but things seem to be looking up based on this comment:

“The other day, we met with a member from a company visiting us in Japan. We sang the opening theme to Steel Jeeg together, so I think we hit it off with them.”

Conceptualization for battles and field systems is still in the works, though the total number of gadgets for the latter has been decided. Still, the narrative has not been finalized yet.

With Penny Blood, similar aspects, such as the story and designs, are being worked on. In addition, however, a special Christmas-themed arrangement by Yoshitaka Hirota was published on Soundcloud.
