Gryphline has announced that Arknights: Endfield will receive its next major update, Homecoming, on July 16, 2026. Serving as the game’s half-year celebration, the update concludes the current Wuling story arc while introducing the largest main-story map expansion since launch, two new playable Operators, factory system updates, new gameplay modes, and anniversary rewards.
The update adds two new story maps. Yinglung Pass serves as the gateway into the sealed territory, where players meet the mysterious Feranmut Proxy Si. North Wuling Exclusion Zone takes players into the Blight Miasma-covered homeland, where they must suppress the corruption and secure a safe path for returning survivors.
The update also introduces a new personal device equipment category for exploration, new Blightshade enemies created from remnants of people and emotions preserved by Æther, and a new boss encounter against Alleikhreos, Chiliarch, whose attacks require players to interrupt specific battlefield mechanics.
Two new Operators join the roster in Homecoming. Arcane, captain of the Yinglung Special Task Force, is the featured six-star Operator. Her combat style varies with the balance between her Intellect and Will attributes, allowing players to build her as either a damage-focused caster or an elemental support unit. Liino, known as the Morning Star of La Fantoma, is an Electric supporter who enhances allies with attack buffs and healing through two combat stances.
The AIC factory system receives its largest expansion yet with the addition of Gas as a new production state alongside solids and liquids. Players can harvest new resources, including Inergen and Xiragen; convert materials between states; streamline manufacturing chains; and unlock new industrial technologies and facilities, such as the Xiranflow Cloudseeder Station.
Homecoming also adds the Echoes of War, a permanent seasonal combat mode featuring rotating stages, difficulty levels, rankings, and seasonal titles. Other additions include HEAT RAGE! MEGA ARENA!, a two-Operator combat challenge, The Rooted Realm exploration event, additional Umbral Monument challenges, and six new Delver of the Cryptic puzzle maps.
Several quality-of-life improvements arrive alongside the update, including an early unlock option for the Wuling storyline, faster equipment crafting, expanded Photo Mode, remote retrieval of outdoor equipment, improved blueprint functionality, customizable combat visuals, and support for DLSS 4.5, PSSR2, and FSR 3.
To celebrate the game’s first six months, Gryphline is distributing rewards. Players can claim 3,000 Oroberyls, five Basic HH Permits, and the free six-star weapon Farsight through a three-day login event. An additional mail reward includes 2,000 Oroberyls and upgrade materials, while the Fortune Connect-and-Win event offers 14 attempts that guarantee at least 5,000 Oroberyls, along with additional rewards. Two separate seven-day login campaigns will also each award five limited HH Permits.
Arknights: Endfield is available on PlayStation 5, PC via the Epic Games Store, and mobile devices via iOS and Android.
