Prepare to watch for dinosaurs and other menacing creatures as Studio Wildcard’s action-adventure survival game, ARK: Survival Evolved is dashing to the Nintendo Switch on November 30. ARK on Switch will cost $49.99 and it’ll be getting both a physical and digital (Nintendo eShop) release.
With ARK: Survival Evolved on Switch, you’ll be able to tame dinosaurs, conquer enemies, and create enormous structures in a vast open world, anywhere you’re at. Abstraction Games lent a helping hand as they helped develop the Switch version of ARK: Survival Evolved, which will include all of the content and features in previous versions of the game.
ARK on Switch sounds like it’ll be as massive as a Titanosaur as the version will have the entire ARK Island, along with 100 prehistoric and fantasy-inspired creatures like everyone’s favorite short-armed dinosaur, the T-Rex. Clearly, ARK Island isn’t a glorious island where you sunbathe, zipline, and all that jazz. It’s a mysterious prehistoric island, and since you’ll be stranded on it, be prepared to hunt, harvest, craft tools, grow crops and build shelters to survive.
For those wanting a real challenge, you can kill, tame, breed, and even ride dinosaurs and other primitive beasts that are on the island. If the going gets tough when playing solo, you can jump online and team up with hundreds of fellow survivors.

Author’s Take: Dinosaurs are rad, and there are plenty of dinosaurs in ARK: Survival Evolved. So, I’d have to say that ARK coming to Switch is pretty rad!
