Adventure RPG ‘Arc of Alchemist’ Adds Switch Release for 2020 and Reveals Added Features
Idea Factory International announced that their upcoming RPG Arc of Alchemist will launch digitally on Nintendo Switch in early 2020 along with the PlayStation 4 version of the game.
Europe will have a physical release of the PS4 version of the game.
The Switch and PS4 version will include an update to the game’s systems features that are meant to streamline the gameplay. Players will find additional items, new base facilities, and improved UI to make it easier to level up the party and provide a better gameplay experience. Additionally, players will be able to choose from over seven playable characters, in the Japanese release of the game, Quinn Bravesford was the only playable character. However, in this updated version players can choose to play as any member of their party and set them as their leader.
In Arc of Alchemist, you take on the role of Quinn Bravesford who must explore a vast desert, known as the Desert of Beginnings, to find the Great Power — the legendary key that’ll save not only her kingdom but also, humanity. According to legends of yore, if the Lunagear, an ancient alchemic drive, is equipped with four orbs the Great Power will be unlocked.
Quinn posses the Lunagear, however, she only has one orb in it. With the threat of dangerous creatures and machines wandering the desert, and one of the enemy nations, the Principality of Neuhaven, also on the search for the Great Power, Quinn and her band of allies have no choice but to fight and find the three missing orbs in hopes of obtaining the Great Power to rescue humanity from the brink of oblivion.
