Adventure RPG ‘Arc of Alchemist’ on PS4 Delayed to Early 2020; New Gameplay Trailer Released

Idea Factory International announced that their upcoming RPG Arc of Alchemist will release digital-only on PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe in early 2020, delayed from the original winter 2019 release.

There’s no reason for the delay from the developers, but it could ensure that game releases at a higher quality.

Additionally, the publisher released a new gameplay trailer showing some of the environments and characters that players will be able to explore in the game. You can also get a look at the game’s the hack-n-slash battle system.

In Arc of Alchemist, you take on the role of Quinn Bravesford who must explore a vast desert, known as the Desert of Beginnings, to find the Great Power — the legendary key that’ll save not only her kingdom but also, humanity. According to legends of yore, if the Lunagear, an ancient alchemic drive, is equipped with four orbs the Great Power will be unlocked.

Quinn posses the Lunagear, however, she only has one orb in it. With the threat of dangerous creatures and machines wandering the desert, and one of the enemy nations, the Principality of Neuhaven, also on the search for the Great Power, Quinn and her band of allies have no choice but to fight and find the three missing orbs in hopes of obtaining the Great Power to rescue humanity from the brink of oblivion.
