Adventure RPG ‘Arc of Alchemist’ Reveals Exploration in New Screenshots

Idea Factory International released new screenshots for their RPG Arc of Alchemist, coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on January 30, 2020 in NA and January 31, in the EU. Europe will have a physical release of the PS4 version of the game.

The screenshots detail how players will use the power of the Lunagear and 4 different Orb elements to solve puzzles. Certain puzzles will require players to combine two elemental Orbs to progress, which means players will need to use different combinations.

Additionally, Quinn and the party will encounter hidden mechanical gimmicks that will block their path during exploration. However, players can use the gimmicks to their advantage by using the Lenagear to activate them and find the enemy’s weaknesses.

The Switch and PS4 version will include an update to the game’s systems features that are meant to streamline the gameplay. Players will find additional items, new base facilities, and improved UI to make it easier to level up the party and provide a better gameplay experience. Additionally, players will be able to choose from over seven playable characters, in the Japanese release of the game, Quinn Bravesford was the only playable character. However, in this updated version players can choose to play as any member of their party and set them as their leader.

In Arc of Alchemist, you take on the role of Quinn Bravesford who must explore a vast desert, known as the Desert of Beginnings, to find the Great Power — the legendary key that’ll save not only her kingdom but also, humanity. According to legends of yore, if the Lunagear, an ancient alchemic drive, is equipped with four orbs the Great Power will be unlocked.
