Aragami Developer, Lince Works, Shutting Down April 2023
Developer Lince Works has announced that they will, unfortunately, be shutting down in April 2023. The team emphasizes that the last few years have been especially difficult, with work on new IPs at the helm of their efforts. Yet, despite their ambition and excitement for these future projects, the economy has not been kind to them.
As a result, Lince Works’ upcoming games will never be completed. Still, the team thanks fans for their continued support over the years and assures everyone that the original Aragami and Aragami 2 will remain accessible on all platforms. Additionally, the online co-op will remain accessible.
You can view Lince Works’ full message announcing their closure below:
The original Aragami was a cult classic thanks to its strong usage of stealth-focused gameplay. Its inspirations of beloved ninja titles like Tenchu only enhanced the quality of the lore and world it presents. New strategic combat, enhanced stealth mechanics, and a gripping narrative that can be experienced solo or co-op await players.
