Apex Legends Season 3 Meltdown Shows World’s Edge Map in New Trailer

EA released a new trailer for Season 3 of the Respawn developed free-to-play battle royal Apex Legends.

Known as “Meltdown,” Season 3 of Apex Legends is launching on October 1 with a brand new map for players, World’s Edge. This new area puts players in an urban environment full of towering cities and various terrain. The map also included a train that provides the first moving combat zone in the game.

The publisher released a new trailer for the update, which gives a preview of World’s Edge as well as a look at the character Crypto’s abilities. Crypto is a hacker who created a program that could predict the Apex Games algorithm, which could be used to make a lot of money. However, his partner, Mila, wanted to use the program and Crypto wasn’t down. Shortly after, Mila was discovered to be missing and blame was put on him. Now, Crypto is on the run from Syndicate and finds himself in the middle of something that he didn’t want to be a part of.

The season includes a new Charge Rifle along with some skins that players can collect from the Season 3 Battle Pass.

Apex Legends is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
